- Closed MRI's
(High Field) have a higher magnetic strength that correlates
to higher pixel resolution and therefore a much improved quality
for detecting even the most minor problems.
- The higher
strength of the MRI unit allows for a much shorter MRI exam
time.
- High Field
Magnets have a large opening and can accommodate larger sized
patients. The High Field
magnetic strength creates a better picture on larger frame
bodies than does an open magnet.
